Local C-PACE Financing

In addition to the Garden State Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) Program, municipalities in the top third of New Jersey municipalities in terms of population can establish local C-PACE programs to finance projects fitting certain criteria for energy efficiency and renewable energy. Those within these jurisdictions may apply for financing for projects through either the local program or the state-wide program. While the program lists a discrete set of technologies that may receive financing, other fuels and energy sources may be approved after consultation with the Board of Public Utilities.
