Renewable Energy and Energy Storage Property Tax Exemptions

South Carolina provides a property tax exemption for renewable energy systems with a rated capacity below 20 kW-AC. South Carolina includes solar thermal, geothermal, green hydrogen, and biomass in the definition of “renewable energy resource.”
